I am not being arrogant or wrong in saying I was a key player in getting Obama elected. I was fighting with my blog day after day and produced a viral blog that was very damaging. I felt justified in my actions because of my views, but more importantly the reality we would have faced with McCain and Palin at the helm. I saw the other group as not only politicaly different, but having a radically different and dangerous way of doing politics. For me this was no ordinary election. The fate of the future seemed to hinge on the results. At least we don't face complete disaster with those overly emotional hardliners. You would think that the computer age would create less fanatisism. In four years the danger will be lurking again. Don't under-estimate them ever again. Peace.

Happy day for African American's, but a sad day for America. We have official taken a wrong turn and are too stubborn to ask for directions.

I wish him the very best and hope he makes the right decisions, I just don't see that happening. I hope that I'm wrong however, and only time will tell.

p.s. - I wounder how long the media love affair with Obama will go on before they start to publicly criticize him.

Well, Aretha, I love ya, but your hat was "out there!" I've got to say, however, Aretha still looked pretty good for her age. Her song was probably more appropriate, but I would've loved it if she belted out a little bit of "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" -- for those of us old enough to sing along with her! As far as Bush and Cheney, I hope we've seen the last of them -- I think Cheney hurt his back trying to dodge the guys with the tar and feathers! And, of course I'm glad "Caribou Barbie" stayed home in Alaska -- this was, after all, an inaugural celebration for the Democratic president.

Biden is a sidekick. The comedians will have a feild day in the next four years. Obama needs Biden to take the heat off.
